Montessori Stacker Toys
Stacker toys are played by stacking or mounting pieces to create a structure. Some example of stacking toys are the classic ring stackers and the more challenging balance stackers.

Through stacker toys, children learn so much. They foster hand-eye coordination through stacking. They also learn new words like ‘bigger’ or ‘smaller’.
Stacker toys will be more suitable for 12 months babies. However, it’s also a good idea to introduce them at 8 months, when they grow interested in playing with objects around them.
"Today children are given toys; that at least is something. Even if they are not fundamentally the right things, at least they fulfill the need for manipulation." Maria Montessori, The 1946 London Lectures
