This sorting wooden tray will help introduce your little one to learn how to sort/group. The main exercise is to sort the items/objects/images into the correct tray division. They separate them according to similarities and differences. When comparing, the children determine if an object has more or less of an attribute. Classifying and sorting activities help children to develop a range of thinking skills and build the foundations for later problem-solving.

Wooden Sorting Tray

Each sorting tray/board is designed with love and made by hand in Montessori Factory's Dallas, Texas workshop. They use organic food-grade mineral oil to seal all their wood products for the children's safety of all ages.

Please note that each board/tray is unique and made-to-order; wood tone and grain will vary from piece to piece.

2-Part board measures approximately 9.25 inches wide x 11 inches tall and 0.4 inches thick. Each sorting category insert measures 4 inches wide x 8 inches tall.
